We Keep Your Colors Consistent and Strong
When it comes to colored concrete, it’s not just about picking the right shade. It’s also about mixing and applying the color the right way.
Some contractors rush this part and end up with uneven coloring — one side darker than the other, or splotches across the surface. That doesn’t happen with us.
We measure carefully, mix thoroughly, and apply evenly. Whether we’re mixing the color directly into the concrete or applying a surface hardener or release powder, we make sure it goes on right and stays that way.

We Prep the Base the Right Way

Even though decorative concrete looks fancy, it’s still concrete. And concrete needs a strong foundation.
We Protect Your Surface from Damage
Your decorative concrete is built to last — but we take extra steps to protect it from things that wear it down over time. That includes sun, water, ice, and chemicals like road salt.
After we finish stamping or coloring your concrete, we apply a sealer. This creates a clear protective layer over the top. It helps block stains, keeps out moisture, and protects the surface from fading or flaking.
Sealant also brings out the colors and pattern, giving your concrete a clean, finished look. We’ll let you know how often to reapply it based on how much use your concrete gets.
We also make sure the surface drains water properly. This stops puddles from forming, which helps prevent slippery spots and wear.

Decorative concrete might look fancy, but it still has to survive in tough Midwest weather. That means hot summers, cold winters, freezing rain, road salt, and more.
We use mixes that are designed for Michigan’s freeze-thaw cycles. These special concrete formulas include air pockets that let the material safely expand and shrink as temperatures change.
Without those air pockets, the concrete could crack or chip when water freezes inside it. We prevent that by choosing the right mix and finishing it properly.
We also plan the layout of your project to control water flow. This keeps rain and snow melt from sitting on the surface and breaking it down over time.
